John Key [NZ's prime minister] had the best response regarding the announcement that loads of Wikileaks would be made. He didn't foam at the mouth like Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, the murderous and stupid Canadian official and others, saying Julian Assange should be hunted down, or assassinated, that he was committing crimes etc.
John Key smiled and said he thought the reports would be glowing [about NZ].
Sure enough, they were. Some have now been released about NZ and they are glowing reports.
The best defence against leaks is to think and therefore behave in a good way of which one would be proud.
You are right that the Saudis, and the Collateral Murderers, and China's murderous megalomaniacs do NOT want publicity for their private crimes conducted in purported public interest.

What's most interesting is that unlike with CO2 which the Loony Liberal Left believe is a catastrophic calamity and the Rabid Republican Right believe is plant food, it's not clear whether people should be for or against Wikileaks based on their LLL or RRR beliefs. Hillary Clinton thinks it's awful and so does Sarah Palin. Hmmm, what a dilemma. They can't both be right. One of them must be wrong. What they are showing is that they are both Big Brother, Big Government megalomaniac self-glory seeking aficionados.
Wikileaks is about The State vs The Individual. Jesus and We the Peer to Peer People versus The Roman Empire. This is about Free Will vs Subjugation. Freedom vs Serfitude. Being a State Chattel or Autonomous Human.

They are scrounging around looking for laws. That's ridiculous. There are laws for absolutely everything. There is obviously no crime or they'd have to load up the staff of the New York Times, Guardian, Sunday Star Times and all the other media, not to mention anyone who read the state secrets "receiving stolen goods".
The criminals who incited to murder should be arrested, prosecuted and executed. One of them is being hunted down [in Canada - he apologized but apologizing for crimes does not absolve one of them]. How is the USA getting on with catching those who called for Julian Assange to be killed? You know, actual criminals. Canada and Sweden could be looking for them too. Interpol no doubt has got red alerts out for them unless they are too busy pursuing those who have experienced broken condoms in dalliances with what historically would be called slatterns.
