freeus: I'm no expert on shorting. Just try to use common sense.

In my opinion, shorting is a very short term move. Especially when you follow stocks like Nextel. They have the capacity to move quickly, in either direction. In order to even have half a chance at gambling with stocks, you have to be glued to the screen, especially in this currently unstable market. Heck, you can short any stock at this time of year. Look at (GLM) Global Marine, good company, offshore oil drilling, good contracts, yet it occilates (spelling?) daily with the market. Short if you don't have money to buy long, or if you like an E ride at Disneyland.

I sure hope you're right about Dec and Jan being good for the bull market. Remember, beer and pizza is on me, lets think about where we can have the party.

The now very nice
