Laura Gorham, who was 34 weeks pregnant, was walking east in a crosswalk on East 29th Avenue Thursday about 5 p.m. when a dark sport utility vehicle or pickup struck her as it headed south on Central Park Boulevard. Gorham entered the hospital in stable condition. Her baby boy was delivered at the hospital but did not survive.
