JNR Discovers Significant Base Metal Mineralization on its 100% owned Yurchison Lake Property

Press Release Source: JNR Resources Inc. On Monday December 13, 2010, 5:10 pm EST

SASKATOON, Dec. 13 /CNW/ - JNR Resources Inc. (TSX:JNN - News; the 'Company') is pleased to announce the results from additional sampling carried out during the summer of 2010 on drill core from holes drilled in 2008 on the company's 100% owned Yurchison Lake property. The sampling was carried out to confirm the presence of base metal mineralization that was visually and geochemically identified during the 2008 exploration program.

Significant zinc (Zn) and copper (Cu) mineralization was confirmed in six of the 13 drill holes completed on the project. Several broad intervals of Zn mineralization were identified in holes YL-08-102, YL-08-105 and YL-08-107 to YL-08-110. The most significant results from these holes include: an 18.5-m interval of 0.08% ppm Zn (up to 0.40% over 0.5 m) in YL-08-109; a 5.5-m interval of 0.54% Zn, including 0.73% Zn over 3 m in YL-08-108; and a 4.5-m zone of 0.08% Zn in YL-08-110. In addition, two 1.0-m intervals of significant Cu mineralization (1.78% Cu and 0.37% Cu), associated with faulting was encountered in YL-08-102. Previously completed airborne GEOTEM surveys have defined conductive trends possibly associated with this base metal mineralization on the Yurchison Lake project and will be the focus of future drill programs.

The following table summarizes the most significant base metal mineralization in the 2008 Yurchison Lake drill holes.

All Zn mineralization has corresponding lead enrichment and is associated
with locally faulted and sheared metasedimentary rocks of the Wollaston Group,
similar to those at the George Lake deposit (13 million tons of 2.76% percent
zinc and 0.36 percent lead) located approximately 15 km to the northeast.
Recent work by Wildcat Exploration at their Sito Lake project 160 km, along
strike to the southwest, has illustrated stratigraphic similarities to the
large Broken Hill base metals deposits of Australia.
JNR Resources Inc. is a junior uranium exploration company with mineral
properties in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Newfoundland. JNR is led by a
highly experienced management team with proven discovery success in uranium as
well as precious and base metal exploration. The company has a varied interest
in several prospective uranium properties in the Athabasca Basin of northern
Saskatchewan that have been and will continue to be the focal point of JNR's
exploration efforts.
JNR's Chief Geochemist, Ken Wasyliuk, P.Geo., is the qualified person
responsible for the technical data presented in this release. Widths presented
in the preceding table represent down hole core lengths; true widths cannot be
reliably estimated at this time. Samples were analysed at the Saskatchewan
Research Council Laboratory in Saskatoon, an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited
