<<I don't think he really means anarchist in the way you think.

I don't fancy him throwing Molotov cocktails, if that what you have in mind. <g>>>

Here is the political layout as I see it. In the 60's something very profound happened. It was the turning point from a structrued world to an existential world.

The world's cultures metamophesing from a world where everyone lived according to scripts. Scripts put forth by the church, cultures, societies and parents to a world of individual freedom i.e. existentialism.

Libertarina's and the right wingers throw around the word freedom all the time and have no friggen idea what they are talking.

You want freedom, well existentialism is the ultimate freedom!!! Yet the right wing hates existentialist's. Why is that do you think?

I saw this conflict coming as a young man. So now the problem becomes how do we blend social needs with individual freedom? That is one tough task. And the reason I find Libertarians quaint.

It should be clear to anyone thinking about it, the thesis today is how do we meld the needs of social order with the needs of people to be free.

It is the only equation. Chomsky knows this cold. That is why he calls himself a libertarian socialist. It is an ideal. Individual freedom combined with necessary social order.

Getting just the right blend of both, first requires people to understand this equation.
