The truth about the horrible situation in Mexico is being ignored. You will have to trust me about this, but I read a report in a Mexican newspaper that the narcos are demanding that public school teachers, average monthly salary circa USD $500-700, fork over their Xmas bonuses, typically a month's salary, otherwise they and their pupils would be harmed. Yes, the narcos are going after children. Nothing new if you are the kid of a rich person or a politician, but they are now threatening lower middle class kids who have nothing to do with the biz, not even indirectly.

For your viewing pleasure, a slide show of a two day battle in Michoacan in which the narcos decided to randomly shoot up random vehicles using the roads. The battle with the Army took two days to finish.

Forget Afghanistan and Iraq and Iran, the battle starts at the Rio Bravo.
