Gottffried, perhaps you can answer a question I posted on the RDRT thread and didn't find an answer to. Is all this talk of Seagate outsourcing heads to RDRT realistic given ample internal head capacity. I guess if the conversion from inductive to MR is expensive enough, they could avoid the added investment in MR and outsource some heads, effectively idling some current inductive capacity. Any thoughts from experts on the subject?
