Applix may have been leveraging whatever claims it may or may not have on multi-dimensional spreadsheets. I would hasten to point out that two fits the definition of a multi-dimensional spreadsheet, perhaps they mean greater than two dimensions. In any event, this seems like a noise-level development and Applix needs to focus on Lotus and Corel as if it wants to compete in the shrink-wrapped Java office products space: the former is real competition and the latter is an excellent, bad example.
