TO ALL: Check out the eerie similarities between Cymer and KLIC. Been up since 4:00 am because of this stock. I took the opportunity to go thru the entire KLIC thread and chart the news from Dec 95 thru 97. Check this out: 12/95 KLIC reports 269% growth-stock falls from 95 high of 44 to 20's 1st Q 96-Rumors of order pushouts, Problems in Far East between Taiwan and China, KLIC thread screaming stock buy-back, PE goes to low teens 2ndQ 96-Short interest goes up 65% Stock drops to 16 Analysts downgrade from buy to hold Company beats 1 q earnings by 15%!! Beginning of 3Q 96:-Semis downgraded KLIC beaten more than overall market. S&P lowers rating from 5 stars to 2 stars(avoid) Analyst comes on CNBC with 'bargain' recommendation for KLIC at end of 3Q 4Q- stock starts to rise (from low @9) for no apparent reason -Monkey securities upgrades from hold to buy (The analyst was Bret Hodess-interesting isn't it?) Beginning 97-Morgan Stanley upgrades to strong buy-stock is trading at 25 Semi's get upgrades end of Jan KLIC rockets to new high of 57 by Sept 97!! STAY LONG!! Smile:) Keep the Faith!!!!
