When COMDEX '97 opens in Las Vegas next week, Cirrus Logic Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS) will
demonstrate technologies that highlight the company's vision for multimedia computing into the next
millennium.
This vision will come to life in Cirrus Logic's first public demonstration of its new sub-$1000 system
architecture that promises to speed the development of next-generation multimedia PCs and
entertainment appliances.
In addition, Cirrus Logic will provide the most comprehensive showing of its industry-leading
CrystalClear(TM) PC audio through fresh, innovative and interactive demonstrations. COMDEX
attendees are invited to experience the future of PC multimedia at Cirrus Logic's booth, No. N114 in
the Main Level Exhibit Room Complex of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Cirrus Logic's sub-$1000 system architecture brings together, in a single integrated system, a robust,
hardware accelerated feature set that includes CrystalClear audio, Laguna3D(TM) 2D/3D graphics,
TV tuner/TV-out support, DVD support and FastPath(TM) 56K Internet access. The full
functionality of this dynamic system architecture for developing low-cost multimedia PCs and
PC-based consumer entertainment appliances will be demonstrated at COMDEX in a home
theater-style entertainment environment.
