I don't know that he was cast to earth on any of those days.
For all I know, he was hanging around watching the whole process and could have been cast to earth already, thus the "without form and void" mess that God straightened out in six days. Pure speculation on my part. If anybody knows of something in the Bible that says one way or the other, maybe they will say so. But it doesn't (to me) seem very important.
It seems that Satan kind of got his wish, to "ascend above God", in a simulated scale. God made man in his own image. Satan slithered up a tree, getting literally above man, who was made in the image of God. Then, Satan totally botched it (or revealed his intentions) by doing what he did through temptation of Eve. When God gets involved in something, he makes things better. As soon as Satan involved himself with affairs on earth, he made things worse. Proved he's not cut out for the position to which he proudly aspired, to say the least.
