freeus,

I am going to get toasted again for bringing up the "freeus effect". Are you starting to think about shorting? When you actually short something, it may be a good indicator that the market has bottomed. I hope you understand that "freeus" is inside all us, just to different extents. There is a lot of comfort in following the crowd, even if the crowd is heading toward the slaughterhouse. Investment psychology seems so simple but is so difficult to practice at times.

Regarding Jerry Klein, I have alway questioned his stock analysis. He loves WDC because the company, including the CEO, will come to his weekend promos. He bad mouths QCOM because they turned him down. Everything he said about WDC, when he was touting the stock, did not take into consideration the competition, the overall DD market, the history of fierce price wars in the industry etc etc. These things should not be a "surprise" to anyone who had done their homework.

Nextel is also a stock that he is touting with the same shaky analysis. I am not sure if he can name the main competitors in the cell phone arena and what are their respective niches.

Having said that, he probably provides a reasonable service to those who do not have the time to understand investing themselves.
