Hi Frank, Milo Medin was involved in the M2Z deal as well - the attempt financed by John Doerr to finesse spectrum in the 700MHz band as part of an emergency services/public network - which was a front for Google's attempt at a mobile advertising network, IMO. The connection to the Google Fiber deal is also via John Doerr (Google VC and board member) whose latest pronouncement is that he is "looking for the next big thing." Apparently, he hasn't heard of HFW or Renaissance Radio. :)

I guess this means that we can officially close the book on M2Z - finally.
