Don,

Options are especially fun for the Market Makers. Did you catch the story in the options column of Barron's this week about the Dell MM on "rebound" Tuesday? Didn't open the options for an hour after the market opened, even though the stock was trading. So anyone holding puts who could have made a ton of money was shut out, due to the way the market rebounded.

I have noticed that at many turning points, even relatively minor ones, they don't open the options until the turn has been made. They wait to see which way the wind is blowing.

"Order imbalance" type stuff. Meaning the MM is on the wrong side of the market if the people on the right side want to cash in.

Legalized theft if you want my opinion.

Let me know if you ever find somewhere to get historical pricing.

Dwight
