My vacation planning involves NOT flying.

Unfortunately, this will all lead to gov't bailouts. I'd love for there to be a nationwide boycott of leisure flying, but frankly, the executives don't give a rat's ass. They get the same bonuses with the vastly reduced size of their airlines, so who cares, really. And if there's a pushback for sanity, they simply will use their executive privilege in Con-artist-Gress to get their due bailout.

Just a matter of time before the TSA hands you a slippery bar of soap before you go into their Freedom Box. If you refused, other passengers who weren't going into the Freedom Box would be allowed to beat you for being a terrorist.
