I spent the last hour trying to get access to e-schwab. NO luck, it just kept kicking me out. So then I called schwab, where we proceeded to spend another half-hour trying to find out what I was doing wrong, resetting my password twice, going through the process. No luck. Finally they discovered the problem is on their end and told me to try again later. Time to run, not walk, to another broker. I covered my spy short while I was at it as there's no way I would be able to cover it if the market goes kaboom anyway. On selloff monday I could not get access by phone or computer for two days.
Anybody have a favorite brokerage? DLJ or Quick and Reilly?
