As for economic and political decisions, I am still happy with the ones I made, and make, every day.
Here in free USA, we have an actual and real vote. We cannot change everything with one vote, but we can vote, and our vote does count.
No matter how free you think you are in Hong Kong, you have no real vote, and never have, so you don't understand the power of the vote. You have no parliament, no congress. You cannot vote for president, queen, king, dictator, chairman, emperor. You cannot vote for legislation, you cannot vote to change anything of substance. You are a slave to your government.
And you always will be, until you, and many, many other people do something radical.
I wish you well, as I wish well being on every one who is enslaved by their government.
It is nice to be free from want, economically. But it is not enough. |
