>>You know little and understand less.
Could be true, how would I know?
Some sort of secret handshake only given to those who know the secret handshake?
Why would I care? Not my group, if there is such a group.
>>As to culture, am unsure what you mean by "my culture" - is that the one scoring very high on divorce?
Probably not, personally, my husband and I have been married for more than 30 years.
On the other hand, my father's Chinese wife (from Guangzhou) was dumped by her husband for a younger woman, and found my dad on the Internet. She was advertised by a Chinese company that dressed her up in fancy clothes, gave her a fancy hairdo and a lot of makeup and basically turned her into a tart, a potential sex slave for lonely western men. Luckily for her, and my dad, they are compatible. A lot of the women who went through the same process with the same company are miserable here. I think these women must have been desperate to get out of China, don't you?
To leave everything and everybody behind, hoping that a totally strange American man will be better for them than the only home they have ever known. At least, they get out of China.
My father's wife is now a US citizen, as is her son who was born in China. They can vote.
In your China, women are usable objects as long as they are sexually attractive, and then, goodbye. Boy's night out with the cute pussies, mistresses, concubines, wives stay home with the family.
It's all about money, the power to consume, nothing about production, creation, love.
Do I wish I were like you, Jay?
Never.
I look at my step mother and my step brother, and I know what they went through to be like me, and I am glad. For them, and for me. |
