As you wrote, telling yourself the truth is the only way to achieve anything, including 10th Dan Nirvana. You can't achieve by telling yourself falsehoods, aka untruth. Being "in the zone" is a wonderful feeling. While one can imagine hitting the ball out of bounds, into the ditch or into the trees, it seems that for that to happen, it would be like time running backwards or gravity working in reverse = possibly imagined but not real. Similarly, Cardinal Sins are choices to make, not facts like gravity. Lying to yourself that they are real is dishonest and creates them out of thin air. Yes, I can theoretically imagine participating in the 7 Cardinal Sins, but it's like hitting the ball out of bounds - seems unreal. In perfection, Mqurice
