John, you have been lucky! The tough question is what to do next. In COMS I sold at 50 but started buying again at 47 and all the way under to 36+. I also sold ATML at 34+ ( I bought it around 26 following a poor quarter and round of downgrades) I also sold ADI at around 34 (bought at 22 under the same circumstances). LSI also provided a handsome profit selling at 38 (bought at 25 in 96). Yet, I have not bought any of these back. Will buying on downgrades work again? no one can tell but probably the most amizing opportunity in tech stocks is that investors inveriably think the stock will never trade higher when in fact the high/low 52 week ratio for even the safest of these stocks is over 2!
