Looking at Light Sweet Crude I see a contract priced at $91.18 for a Feb 2011 delivery as well as a contract for July 2011 delivery priced at $93.65, so I don't see a huge run-up coming in the next six months. Maybe things will change.

I wouldn't worry too much about OPEC, as they don't rule the world of oil. Many things will change in 50 years or so, until then I think oil stocks remain a tradable asset with good dividends spinning off quarterly.
