I have 3 machines. Only one of them is my primary and it runs 24/7. I never shut it off, but about once a month I run defrag and then do a warm boot. I'll occasionally run Chkdsk/R instead, followed by a warm boot. Never a problem here.

The other 2 machines are off most of the time. They get used for weekly, or less often, chores. Truth be told I could easily get by without them. I installed an EVGA port a couple months ago and utilize 2 monitors with this single machine. I get all the functionality needed with that setup.
