Ah...you just venerate Saladin because of his love for the Arabian horse!

He truly was a religious person of rarity, finding the shedding of blood to be extremely distasteful and immoral. In a different time, he would have been saintly rather than an (at times) ruthless General.

Too bad Islam stepped back into the dark ages but until their women are treated as human beings and get to have their say, rational humanity will need to guard against the excesses of all the superstitious from all the tribes.
