Colorado MEDtech Inc. Announces First Quarter Results
BOULDER, Colo.--(BW HealthWire)--Nov. 12, 1997--Colorado MEDtech Inc. (NASDAQ:CMED - news), a Boulder-based medical products and services company, today announced results for its first quarter ended Sept. 30, 1997.
Net income in the first quarter increased to $663,709, an increase of 46%, compared to $453,333 in the same quarter last year and earnings per share were 6 cents per share compared to 5 cents per share in the same period last year. Sales in the first quarter were $7,260,230, an increase of 37%, compared to $5,288,302 in the same period last year.
''In spite of moving RELA's manufacturing operations to a new facility in Longmont, Colo., in August and the first quarter historically being our slowest quarter because of vacations, we are pleased with our first quarter results,'' said John V. Atanasoff, president and chief executive officer. '
