While I confess to avoiding religious terms where I feel they are out of context, that isn't the point. (Indeed you know from my posting history on this thread that I do discuss religion at times, and generally with respect.) You took a shot that's not quite cricket when you replaced my word "sanctity" with your broader term "value", implying that I don't value life. My distaste stems from having to point out a violation of boundaries. Trying to win or sustain an argument by distorting your interlocutor's words might play well on a political stage, but not among decent folk. Jmo.

When in our lifetimes were forced sterilizations performed in this country? As for the Netherlands, the whole topic came up because you or greg posted an article about medical policy questions in this country.
