for china/hk, all except the demo/model homes are sold as shell, with the owner deciding on fitout and such, from number and placement of outlets/light fixtures to material of wall/floor and of course furnish. the interior contractors can do all or part we are gutting the in-law's duplex / garden across the road starting february to put in new greenhouse glass room for something or other, and a new room for dining, open up the kitchen, relocate the helper's room, and converting a studio into my new home office, complete with ability to open up the entire office to the great outdoors, and to wifi, fan and heat the outdoors gazebo. we are gutting our abode starting in june to modernize to newest standard of geewhizbang, change the flooring, and convert my ex-home office to a new bedroom for jack. we did not want to move to a different view and was not keen to step up to a bigger place. we also wished to reno in such way that would make our place easy to lease should we wish to relocate to another abode. need to short do more straddles and strangles on gdx/paas :0) cheers, j
