sort of cancels out the whole thing. I see. So Yusuf Islam says several offensive things at different times and venues and then when there is a negative reaction, he says "heeheehee, just kidding!!!" and he gets a pass from you? BTW: he didn't claim that his first response was a joke. For that, he said that he was a new convert and he was going with his interpretation of what was clearly the intent of the Koran in cases of blasphemy. Politicians everywhere are going to be thrilled that they can use the "just kidding" card whenever they get a negative response to whatever boneheaded comment they make. How do you think the gay muslim couple in my proposed "Modern Muslim Family" is going to go over in Saudi Arabia and Iran?
