That is proof of Global Warming. Extremes of weather, including record breaking cold, are due to warming [in the latest manifestation of Al Gore's Second Chakra]. So, when it's cold, it's due to The Greenhouse Effect and when it's hot, or normal, it's also proof of The Greenhouse Effect. Everything that happens is proof.
It's like Allah. Everything that happens is Allah's will.
There's nothing that would show the Greenhouse Effect theories are wrong. If Earth goes back into the Ice Age, that's due to Global Warming. Even all the way to Snowball Earth would be due to Global Warming.
The religious and superstitious nature of the Global Warmists is such that I can now expound a new scientific theory: Global Warming is a religion [that part of the theory is not true] and the adherents of Global Warming don't have serious allegiance to other religions. The stronger their belief and ardour for Global Warming Gaia religion, the less their belief in other supernatural deities.
Unlike the Doomster theory about Global Warming, my theory is easily tested. Count the believers in Gaia and Global Warming and allocate their ardour on a 0 to 10 scale from outright denialism to full scale suicidal 10 "I must die to save the world". 9 would be other people must die to save the world.
As with early multi-god pagan and animist superstitions, this one has many deities. There is recycling, "alternative" fuels, worshipful water, and the whole panoply of catechism.
