8bits.. re: oil and gas.. I switched out of oilsands to Bakken /Cardium plays.. Canada's light oil reserves basically doubled overnight with new technology, US is more blessed.. We keep finding more of the stuff.. I really don't worry about peak oil or gas beyond profiting from the latest fad... .. As I posted a while back it will be very interesting to see how this turns out... What I do worry about how we can't seem to function with or without government as a society.. because it always gets too big and self aggrandizing.. losing sight of its original duty.. Rubin... made some good calls.. IMO started believing his own press and is now on a mission to prove himself at all costs.. after his bad calls in 2008.. Rubin still sounds a bit (well more than a bit :O) like a used car salesman to me.. an observation I've made a few times.. I can't shake it :O) Message 25312595
