That makes my palms sweat just watching, but I used to work 10 stories high building scaffolding, which was actually more dangerous than that. I get queasy looking out the windows of high buildings now and have no idea how I ran around like a monkey barefoot on scaffolding, building it as we went. Nothing was fixed in those days. We swung bars out into space and did up nuts with nothing holding anything except our hands. But at least the scaffolding was metal, unlike using bamboo.

Mountain climbing is much more dangerous too because swinging an ice axe into snow and ice is "swing and hope" rather than engineered bolts and brackets.

I prefer dangerous cerfing in cyberspace these days.
