Alex, there is NO doubt in my mind that I would be unceromoniously and rapidly dethroned were any number of my threadkin to appear at Acrophobia, particularly you! I'm terrible at timed games... I'm REALLY slow and get lost playing with the letters, thinking up weird words or else going blank. Not only did I lose every round the first day, I seldom managed to enter a response within the allotted time. People were saying, "Are you there, Rambi? Are you playing?" It was humiliating. Especially when someone said, How old is everybody? and these people were saying, "13", "16!" one person said, "10!" I, of course, then had to lie and say 9. Yesterday, having evolved a system where I could at least get something typed and entered, and because the people playing were pretty bad also, I managed to do better. And I did win two Face-Offs. I did not however,exaggerate about all the girls who have crushes on the sensitive Rambi, whom I believe in their teenage hearts they have pictured as Sylvester Stallone with a vocabulary.
I can bear no more losses....what a dismal week for my poor stocks. I'm going to buy paint and chair cushions. The fact that this makes my heart soar with anticipation tells you the depths to which my life has descended. |
