OT si.advfn.com Please let me know if this public portfolio link still works, thanks! Ringing the register with (mostly) a number of very solid gains. Cash up close to 1/3 of portfolio ($85K). Stocks left in the portfolio ($177K) are currently valued close to the original investment allotment of $175K. So, where are we... Basically a 50% gain over the past 3+ years. Considering the timing of the initial setup couldn't have been worse (Nov 2007)--right before the market collapse of 2008/09--I am relatively pleased by the current status of this LTBH portfolio. fwiw.... I think the market has come a long way over the past 6 months or so. No reason for it to stop now but it could be "tired" of going up. The bears have been getting their heads handed to them and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they decide a good roar is in order.
