Dear Instock,

You can't imagine how relieved I am that someone on this thread has finally expressed some thoughts I've been having about the mood of the market since Oct 27 ! POW stocks are great stocks -- better than the market in general, yet the ones I own are sloooooowly unwinding. Take a look at CADE, SEEQ, and MLOG whose earnings and growth rates would have commanded higher prices just a few months ago. I know some other POWs are in the same malaise. Nobody wants to buy until the upward direction of the economy is reconfirmed and theats of inflation are not. Not even good stocks.

Instock, you are right about cash. I'm out of all of my equity mutual funds and the only stocks I own are the ones I thought would perform well due to great recent earnings and growth. It doesn't seemed to have helped.

Regards,
Chris

P.S. If the weather hadn't been so bad, I was tempted to drive to Annapolis to meet you all. I live on the other side of D.C. It would have been fun ! Glad you guys all got to meet each other and enjoy the weekend !
