Hi Chip,

I think you are really right on with working the chop.

I'm far from nimble, but challenged to get better.

I've found EW helps me look at alternatives - in improvement from just holding the entire account.

I finished up the roof repair in Wisconsin.

Redid the ceiling of the water damaged restroom under the 3 layer of 90 year old shingles.

I'm finishing up the replace of all soffit and fascia on my Houston house - hope to be doine bt mid February.

Then I'm back to Wisconsin to gut the walls of both restroom and modernize the kitchenette with new appliance cabinets and granite counter tops.

Then I have to strip out the old carpeting and refinish the oak wood floor in a the one room school house.

Install new windows and pour an ADA approved handicap ramp into a new building entrance which will also be a display ramp for used vehicles.

Its a huge undertaking and I hope to be able to sell used vehicles late into the fall of 2011.

My retirement so far has just about killed me.

I feel great and have lost about 12-15 pounds.

I love being in Wisconsin as I'm able to live with my mother who just had her 92nd birthday in December.

She's sharp as a tack but needs interaction to keep her focussed and a bit more active.

I'm trying to do this remodel and keep the quality very high and done on a cash basis.

I have a business model for internet selling of used vehicles that I've proven to be very effective and aggresssive in my Houston stores.

The only business model that has made me nervous is a very low overhead, lean and efficient model.

It's a model that new car stores cannot get to - as a new car dealer it has haunted me.

So I'm going to implement it in my retirement and watch it grow.

I'm afraid it will work so well - I'll have to go back to work - but this time I'm going to delegate more.LOL

Thanks for asking.

Lets get a dip here eh?

Bob
