Heroin and crack addicts are a burden on society.

The small percentage who end up at the bottom of the barrel cost a body bag and a burial. Let them pay for their own problem.

We have been propagandized into believing everybody who uses drugs becomes an down and out addict. When you look at the amount of drugs consumed vs the addict problem, it's obvious that most can handle it fine. The Addict problem is probably less than the percentage from alcohol. Nobody knows. The Gov lies about it to justify the DEA.

I just ran into a good example of this yesterday. Someone close who takes a needed drug that puts her into depression for two weeks out of the month. The normal depression drugs are worse than the problem. The answer? Desoxyn. The prescription version of Meth. But no Doc will prescibe it.

Meth was used for decades by millions of people who were helped by it. But the people who couldn't handle it were used as the excuse to run it off the market. It's still out there, in dangerous versions, coming from over the border.

My rant here just gets it off my chest. The Anti-drug industry makes billions from fighting the drug problem. They are not about to give up their jobs.
