Chris:
Know your feelings, and the impulse to go to cash. Have to fight it everyday (excepting RECY, of course), but at the end of yet another turn-down day, I look at the people sitting next to me, the people on the street, the people on TV, and I realize: NOTHING'S CHANGED. This is the classic hold-tight position: It's like that moment in a poker game where you're up 300% of what you sat down with, and a bad beat makes you realize you're not playing with children after all. Doesn't mean you have to leave the table, just play your cards tight. But as they say, there's tight-weak and tight-strong. Tight-strong means sitting through a 15-30% diminishment in profits without blinking, cutting losses at some rigid point you predetermine and honor, and refuse to waffle while your stock fights its battle with resistance and support points that are well-documented.
Sorry for the long, stupid rant. Just wanted to say: Couragio, couragio.
