Kristel stayed in Salt Lake for five months when I first took my job and moved to Denver. A meth lab set up shop in the apartment next door while I was gone. The smell of the fumes kept her up all night long.

She complained to the complex, and to the SLC drug task force (which wasn't interested in the least). Luckily my wife can take care of herself, she had her 38 and our dog, and she knew how to subtly let the neighbor know that we mind our own business, until his business starts interfering with our quiet, then we have a problem.

The guy moved the lab out of the apartment in broad daylight and we had no problem afterwards.
