breaking news:
i had just this week discovered heretofore beyond-awareness fountain of physical presious metals (aussie nugget/koala, austria philharmonic, american baffalo/eagle, canadian maple, swiss wafers, of au, ag, pt, and pd) right in central hong kong that had been carrying on biz since 2005, helping to balance the trade deficit between china and the rest of the world, and converted all pt trading profit into 9995 pt and 9995 pd wafers.
i am actually shocked that the biz have existed for so long, earning enough premium to keep going in cbd, almost entirely dependent on visiting mainland and regional chinese for sustenance, and kept unknown amongst the expat types. quite amazing. the manager said they do not advertise (actually a global brand) locally, and has a display room in shanghai that does not really do much nor intend to do much biz because pm transactions in china carry a 17% vat. they just engage with customers here in hk.
i am also encouraged and my faith is strengthened.
