There is a flaw in the hypothesis.
Once one of the electrons is knocked out of the protein, it stops participating in the molecular orbital (quantum state) that contained it. It becomes disentangled at once; there is no memory.

Quantum entanglement is a current example of Trendy Science, an idea that contains some intrinsic coolness finding itself hyperextended to explain things far outside its bailiwick. It's a gentler example of the same thing that has fans of the paranormal appropriating the term "energy" from physics, trying to borrow its legitimacy without being troubled by the other properties of energy.

Big words rule.
