Lots of lucky fund managers in the United States!

"While it's been reported that the SEC is now trying to root out fraud among Chinese companies which have come to the U.S. markets via reverse mergers by reaching out to potential whistleblowers, one court in China has taken more draconian measures.

On Jan. 6, 2011, Xinhua News Agency reported that Ms. Yingxia Jiao, Chairwoman of China Yingxia International (CYXI), was sentenced to death for illegal fundraising and fraud by Harbin Intermediate People's Court. Executive Yang Chunxiao was also sentenced to death. According to the Xinhua article, thirteen others were involved in the fraud, with one sentenced to life in prison and others receiving lesser, yet substantial sentences from 1 to 13 years."
