You have to question their judgment and their ability to serve in high office.

Mary, this thread has become a venue for posting folks like Benen and Krugman who are cherry-picking quotes and stringing them together to stir the passions of the reader into partisanship. So to discover the truthiness of Palin and Bachman, one has to go looking for it.

Not knowing anything about Michelle Bachman (I mean nothing), I decided to sit and watch her and Anthony Weiner of NY on TV last week. I don't remember the show, but these two were guests. The big picture is that she came across as well-spoken, intellegent and reasonable. I liked that she claims to have a committee working to identify a specific list of about 400 billion in cuts to address our budget deficit. Weiner, otoh, came across as an blooming idiot....even an embarrasssment. Petulant, defensive and unable to commit to searching for ways to make spending cuts. I mean he made no sense about anything. Some Dem handler needs to keep him off TV...seriously.
