To be fair, a long time ago (the 60's) Two generations ago now, and even the few surviving notable names from that era straightened up and spent the years after 1970 in harmless pursuits. No one in the modern Democratic Party or progressive movement has returned to anything approaching the ideology of armed revolt that existed on the fringe back then. Can't say that about the other side of the aisle, which is, I keep repeating, amply documented for anyone to weigh and decide on their own. A lot of rose colored glasses out there, unfortunately.
