I am totally ROFL. Yesterday, that yahoo sheriff was the very most irritating of all the pontificators I suffered through. His attempts to politicize the event rather than just report the facts made me want to throw shoes at the television.

This information is sad, very sad, but carries with it a kind of sweet justice. I hope a groundswell of public effort runs him out of office. It just wasn't his place to make the comments he did. If anything, they were incendiary on their own and could have caused more violence. Whenever there's a tragedy and idiots start hurling blame, do they stop to think that what they say could cause someone else to retaliate in the heat of the moment?
