Useful stuff, even if not exactly enjoyable, at least for US$-based people. I was in Switzerland for a few days last week and it is astonishing how expensive everything is, I think it has always been relatively expensive there, but the Swiss Franc has been on a tear lately, now about 1-1 against the US$, also up against the Euro. I talked to an old-timer who remembers it being 4-1. Not too long ago Jim R was advising people to buy the Loonie when it was closer to 2-1, now also about 1-1.
