Speaking of astronomy, I'm staying at the Seattle Sheraton. There is is a Astronomy Society convention going on and the hotel is full of folks from Berkeley, Jet Propulsion Laboratory and universities from all over. To say it is a geeky bunch would be a gross understatement. In a crowded elevator yesterday one woman joked about the people moving about the elevator car in Brownian motion. Scientist humor.
