Larry: I think that that's a good letter.
I don't mean to be critical, but I also think you left yourself open to recieving a non-answer. They can reply, but possibly not to the issue that you want. If you write I suggest confining your inquiry soley to the cert. problem That way they can't (well they can, it's the government) sidestep what you want.
Q: How long does it take to get certs delivered.
Q: What are the legal recourses I have when they are not delivered in this time.
Q: How does a small guy get enforcement of this time frame.
I think these are some of the Questions to be asked, but it's important to localize the issue. Remember, if these people were able to do anything other than mess with our lives, they wouldn't be working for the government.
I think that this whole thing should be worked out, and maybe one form drawn up for everyone to follow.
Then..BABOOM..everyone start emailing.
Don't forget there are a lot of people on other threads who might pick this up.
I would imagine if the sec got say 5000 emails in one week concerning this issue, they might address it.
I think your letter was good, you took a step. All of the above is just my opinion..it's not a rec to buy or sell. al
