Microsoft Labels {DOJ } Action Baseless, Inexcusable www5.zdnet.com

This from the Anchordesk Radar Screen column

Our take: After two years of thumbing its nose at the DOJ, scorning it, doing everything short of mooning Janet Reno in public, Microsoft wonders why government lawyers have it in for them. DOJ may be inept at times -- but it's not trying to restrict innovation. It's Microsoft's monopoly that increasingly hinders innovation.

Liz, of course, is not unique in her take. Others hold that the technical lock aka monopolistic death grip is a necessity in business, and that Janet Reno should wash her mouth out with soap. Who's to say?

Cheers, Dan
