I think it's an opportune time to split to contain the perceived high the stock may gain from current and new announcements, increased production capacity, new products and OEM's. You can be reasonably assured that with all moving forces now in place that this stock will be trading much higher by Q1/98 earnings announcement. I for one would rather see this stock in approximately the same range then as it is now, with twice as many shares, rather than approaching the highs of last year with today's amount of shares.

The coming split is in fact a strong indication that the directors expect the price to increase significantly in the near future.
