Reza spoke about why the mullahs are trying to get nukes - to bring about the end times and the 12th imam - they couldn't care less if Iran is blown up - that's the point - chaos. But he also talked about everything else in his book. Between the modulator he uses to disguise his voice and his accent, he's sometimes hard to understand and that part didn't come through very clearly.

He's the keynote speaker tonight at the World Affairs Council dinner. I'm going over to the hotel later today and will finally meet his wife, a person I only know as a character in the book.
