The unstable will always be with us, and will not always be caught. Wouldn't it be nice to both limit the number of unstable people out there, as well as limiting the amount of damage one can do with a gun? I mean what homeowner really needs that many rounds? Law enforcement- sure- once and a while, maybe, they might need it. (In a town like mine, they might never need it.) But really, what's the excuse for giving that kind of firepower to regular folks. A black powder rifle? Sure- that's certainly consitutional. Deuling pistols? our founding fathers would approve. An uzi? I don't think so. I mean lets go to the constitution and figure out just which weapons our founding fathers might have meant... How many rounds did a militia man's gun hold? "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."[
